The Bottengarn Sauna Centre is open every day from 11:00 to 18:00. A two-hour sauna session costs €50.
Please book your visit at least two hours in advance. If you wish to enjoy the sauna outside of normal opening hours, a special rate applies. Our reception staff will be happy to assist you with further information and bookings.
Wood-fired Muhu-style juniper sauna, 80°C
Our cosy wood-fired sauna can accommodate up to six guests and offers an authentic sauna experience, where the crackling of the fire and the natural wood help melt away the stresses of everyday life. A traditional sauna session boosts your health by improving blood circulation, relieving muscle tension and ensuring a deep, restorative sleep afterwards.

Gentle Salt Sauna 50–60 °C

Our cosy Gentle Salt Sauna offers a gentler heat than a traditional sauna, enhanced by healing salt crystals. This gentle, lower-temperature environment is ideal for a longer period of relaxation, gently cleansing your airways and skin without placing undue strain on your body.
Hot tube
Our hot spring offers a unique outdoor spa experience, where the crisp Muhu air meets the deeply relaxing embrace of the warm water. A relaxing soak effectively relieves muscle tension, improves circulation and provides the perfect prelude to a deep, restful sleep. For a true sense of well-being and the perfect spa ritual, we recommend enjoying a hot bath immediately after a refreshing sauna session.
After a refreshing sauna, the sun loungers on the spa terrace await you, where you can relax in complete peace whilst enjoying the wonderful sea views and the unspoilt nature of Muhu.
Private experiences (available exclusively to guests staying at Bottengarn)
Sea water tube

Price: €76 (1 hour)
A seawater hot tub awaits you in pristine natural surroundings. The hot tub is filled with brackish water and heated with wood to the required temperature. As we wish to protect the environment from pollution, the use of soap and other detergents is not permitted.
Floating sauna

Price: €110 (1.5 to 2 hours – depending on whether the sauna has been heated in advance).
The Bottengarn floating sauna offers a unique experience, combining traditional Estonian sauna culture with a breathtaking sea view. This is a place where time stands still, and everyday worries are replaced by the lapping of the waves. Our floating sauna is situated right on the water, offering privacy and the chance to take a dip in the refreshing sea directly from the sauna’s deck. The gentle steam and the immediate proximity to nature help the body and mind to relax deeply. How you heat the sauna and what your sauna ritual entails is entirely up to you – it’s all part of an authentic island holiday.
Private experiences can be booked every day from 12.00–18.00, and visits must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. An additional charge applies when booking an experience outside normal opening hours. For more detailed information on prices and opening hours, please ask our reception staff.
